This 18 V SDS-max® 1-9/16 in rotary hammer is powerful enough to provide corded-type performance for tackling heavy-duty concrete drilling or chiseling jobs. The BOSCH GBH18 V-36C Rotary Hammer delivers 5.2 ft-lb of impact energy (EPTA). That is unprecedented for a single 18 V battery driven SDS-max® 1-9/16 in rotary hammer. It weighs 13.4 lb (with included battery). This hammer is part of the PROFACTOR™ system, which pairs BITURBO Brushless™ technology with a CORE18V® high power battery. BITURBO Brushless™ technology is a high performance motor and drive train system designed to deliver power comparable to high demand corded tools. The anti-vibration system features a longer air cushion in the hammer tube and dampeners in the handle The hammer has KickBack control, rotary hammer and hammer only modes, a reverse setting and Vario-Lock™ to rotate and lock the chisel. The hammer features an on tool user interface for tool performance, feedback and control. This hammer features connectivity (module sold separately), providing a link to the free BOSCH toolbox app on a connected device to customize settings. The kit includes two CORE18V® 8 Ah high power batteries, which each deliver 50% more runtime and over 75% more power than the CORE18V® 4 Ah battery, powering high demand applications. The kit has a GAL18 V-160C battery turbo charger, which provides 16 A charging current for fast and faster charging, with an optional Power Boost™ mode.
