HISCO™ closed back blades are stamped from a single-piece of steel and the hollow back, known as the frog, is welded closed with a steel plate to reduce soil build-up and add strength. Blades have forward turned steps for secure and comfortable foot placement. Handles are attached with a single rivet and feature a reinforcing metal collar at neck.
