This six-outlet metal power strip is made to work. It has two wide spaced outlets for oversized transformer plugs that come on many power tool battery chargers. There's a built-in resettable circuit breaker in the lighted on/off switch to protect against overloads and it has a 10 ft extra reach power cord with a low profile plug to get power from the outlet to the workbench or where ever it's needed. To make mounting easier, there are mounting holes at the edges of the unit.
